glass and light
The lighting is indirect. The lamps, which are installed under footlevel, light the glass-panes of the railing.
A specially developed coating on the glass reflects the light and illuminates the walk in the intended extent.
The movement of the pedestrians is registered by a series of radar-sensors.
A computer program transforms this information into switching-commands for the lamps which can be individually addressed.
